"I recently moved from the "big city" with decent internet to the quiet isolation of the country. It never occurred to me that the internet service would be lacking! I was told that my only choice was satellite internet (HughesNet or Viasat). Although they both offered “unlimited data” (until you get to 50gbs with mine, then it’s down to dial up speed). I work from home and am a pretty heavy data user, so I was very frustrated until I finally talked to someone who recommended I call John at NMI.
High speed internet via Cell Tower utilization sounded a bit like witchcraft to me, but with a no contract, unlimited data plan and with a 14d day refund policy on the modem, I figured I would give it a try. My modem/router arrived, I plugged it in and in about 20 minutes, I had 5 devices connected, with over 20 Mbps download speed. Two months in and I’m thrilled - sure we occasionally have some slow time, but this is much more reliable than my previous internet service.
The equipment and service is about as effortless as it gets. If you have a question, an e-mail gets you a fast response (I never needed to call). So don’t sign a contract with a satellite company until you at least give these guys a try! "

I’m the kind of person who supports small businesses but that was not possible because the cable company in the city where I live had a monopoly.
